Shore Erosion Project
With the assistance of the Community Fisheriers Assistance Program grant from the Kansas Department of Wildlife & Parks, Sherman County has begun the work on the lining of the shore of the Smoky Gardens.
Sherman County Road & Bridge is placing concrete riprap along the shoreline to protect the shoreline of the Smoky Gardens from scour and water, wave, and ice erosion.
